How does the 14-day free trial work?
During the test phase, you can use BookASlot for 14 days with the full range of functions free of charge - including all Pro features. You do not need to enter any payment details and can try out everything without obligation.
What happens at the end of the test phase?
If you do not take out a subscription, your account will be deactivated automatically. Your data will remain stored for 14 days and can be transferred if required. After that, it will be deleted in accordance with GDPR.
Do I need to install any software?
No. BookASlot is a cloud-based solution and runs entirely in your browser – always up to date, with no installation or setup required.
Can I integrate BookASlot into my own website?
Yes, you can easily integrate your booking calendar into your website via iFrame. The design can be adapted to your branding.
Can I customize the look and feel of the booking interface?
Yes. You can personalize colors, logos, and email templates to ensure that your booking system fits seamlessly into your brand identity.
Is BookASlot GDPR compliant?
Yes, our servers are located in Germany (Frankfurt). All data is end-to-end encrypted (RSA-2048 & AES-256) and we do not use cookies. BookASlot fulfills all requirements of the GDPR.
Can I also run BookASlot on my own servers?
We currently offer BookASlot exclusively as a SaaS solution.
What payment methods are supported?
Payment is currently made conveniently and securely via a payment provider. You can use standard payment methods such as credit card and SEPA direct debit.
Can I charge a deposit or take a card on file to prevent no-shows?
You can already collect online payment via Mollie at the time of booking – customers pay the full price upfront, so you're covered on that appointment. You can also connect your own SumUp terminal to take card payments in person, synced automatically with your calendar. What's not possible yet is collecting a partial deposit only, or automatically charging a saved card after the fact if someone doesn't show up. Combined with automatic email reminders before the appointment, this already covers many businesses – but if you specifically need a deposit-only or after-the-fact no-show charge, keep this limitation in mind for now.
Can I manage multiple staff members and locations?
Yes. As part of our Early Adopter Program, you already benefit from the full feature set of the future Pro plan – including support for up to 5 staff members and 2 locations. Services and availabilities can be assigned individually.
Can I set individual permissions for each team member?
Yes. In the Pro plan you can define exactly what each team member is allowed to do: view, edit or delete appointments, customers, services, booking calendar, inventory and more – all configurable per person. You stay in control without having to micromanage.
